RIP Grandma
Last Saturday (the 24th) my grandma Jorgensen passed away. This picture is of them at Disneyland just a week before. They were ALWAYS holding hands. She was an amazing lady and will be greatly missed. The viewing was Wednesday night and the funeral was yesterday (Thursday Nov. 29th). We had a short viewing before from 11 to 11:45. Before we all went into the chapel my uncle Glenn gave a family prayer then we said one last goodbye to grandma. Right as they were about to take her body into the chapel my grandpa said "No wait, I need to give her one last kiss." It was the sweetest thing. Jeff, my dad, my uncle Keith and cousin Amber gave talks and all the grandkids and great grandkids sang a song. Of course half of us were crying to much to really sing but we made it through. I can't imagine how lonely my grandpa is feeling now, they were married for 68 years and really were the best example of true love. WE MISS AND LOVE YOU GRANDMA!

That makes me want to cry that he had to give her one last kiss. Seriously, I'm tearing up! That is the sweetest thing, and a real show of true love. She seemed like an incredible lady. And I'm sure your grandpa is fine since he knows they will be together again someday! I'm sorry for your loss, christina! Love you!
